David Moyes appointed Manager of Manchester United David Moyes will take over as the Manager of Manchester United from the 2013/14 season, after the Manchester United Board unanimously approved the recommendation of Sir Alex Ferguson. Moyes will take the helm on 1st July 2013 after agreeing a 6 year contract.
